Why we’re different
Body therapy at Total Body Skincare and Wellness Spa in Wayne relies less on the application of extravagant mineral components such as mud and algae, and more on boosting your metabolism and burning fat: by exercising on our Power Plate Pro 5 vibration plate and passively perspiring in our far infrared FIT Body Wrap. In addition, to enhance the impact of these two pieces of equipment, we incorporate cavitation our signature Contour LipoDrainage Treatment, which provides increased detoxification by boosting natural lymphatic and microcirculatory activity. This treatment combines cavitation with the cellulite-fighting benefits of manual lymphatic drainage, i.e. increased circulation and the removal of toxins. It’s the perfect finish to your body-therapy treatment.
Durations
Body Conditioning clients can partake in their choice of (1) a Body Composition Analysis on the InBody 570 (2) a 30-minute Power Plate workout, (3) a 60-minute FIT Body Wrap, and (4) a 45-, 60- or 75-minute Body Contouring Treatment. Shower facilities and towel service provided at no additional charge. Some clients may wish to combine just two of the treatments, e.g. the Body Wrap + the LipoDrainage Treatment. Individual options are covered below.
Body Contouring and Conditioning components
Power Plate
- $70Power Plate is the next generation of fitness technology. This revolutionary training technique delivers harmonic vibration to the body, stimulating a natural reflex. It is high-efficiency training unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before, effectively burning fat, reducing cellulite, relieving pain, enhancing muscle tone, and increasing strength. With Power Plate, you get a complete, full-body workout incorporating stretch, balance, core, strength and massage in just 30 minutes. Our on-staff personal trainer will guide/assist you as needed. While used by serious high-intensity trainers, the Power Plate is also ideal for women with mobility issues or those fearful of straining themselves on standard gym equipment.

FIT Body Wrap
- $70During a FIT Body Wrap session, far infrared heat is generated very close to the body, and can penetrate 1-2 inches, heating areas where fats and toxins have been stored without generating uncomfortable heat on the surface of the skin. While lying back and relaxing, you will produce substantial amounts of sweat during a one-hour FIT Bodywrap weight-loss session. About 15% of this sweat contains fats and toxins that are permanently flushed from your body. Sweating in itself has its benefits, but in the Body Wrap you are also raising your heart rate, speeding up your metabolism, and burning calories at very high rates. When you are finished, you may opt for a shower at no additional cost. Towels are provided. Multiple sessions are suggested.

Contour LipoDrainage Treatment

a standalone treatment or as part of a body-treatment package (see below) – provides increased detoxification by boosting natural lymphatic and microcirculatory activity. It combines activation of the circulatory system with the cellulite-fighting benefits of Manual Lymphatic Drainage to facilitate the removal of toxins. Cavitation, radio-frequency and other technologies (as needed) are incorporated into this intensive treatment. It’s the perfect finish to a body-therapy package consisting of a workout on the Power Plate and/or a fat-melting session in the FIT Body Wrap.
