Total Body Skin Care and Wellness Spa in Wayne NJ deals with a small number of clients at a time. It is not a noisy, high-traffic spa or salon. Your relaxation, comfort and peace of mind are paramount to us.
During the massage, we drape clients according to established industry guidelines. Clients with reservations about removing their clothing can rest assured – we can perform most massages through loose-fitting clothes.
Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your session begins in order for us to begin the massage on time.
Our massage treatments are offered in 45-minute, 75-minute and 90-minute durations. Unlike franchise massage companies, your time to disrobe and dress is not deducted from the durations booked. For them, a one-hour session consists of a 50-minute massage, with five minutes to change and five minutes to sell you a monthly massage plan. Please note that 45-minute massages are generally for targeted massages only (e.g. to treat neck pain, sciatic pain, etc.). Prenatal massages are offered only in 45-minute and 75-minute durations.

Until the late 2000s, she worked at one of New York City’s premier spas, Cornelia Day Resort. Her talent has been noted by Allure Magazine, which named her in its “Best of” series for New York massage therapy in 2007 and 2008. Isabel has extensive training in the newest massage techniques.

Eases the muscle strains and stress on the back, neck, abdomen, and shoulders that accompany pregnancy. Rest assured: your therapist is trained in massage protocols for pregnant patients.
Choose a Swedish massage if you prefer a lighter touch. It is an excellent option for first-time massage patients, or those who don’t get massages very often. Goes well with the optional enhancements at right.
Seniors require a gentler touch and special training goes into balancing their comfort with achieving the results they seek. This massage increases blood circulation, lymphatic flow, relieves joint pain and stress, and speeds up healing from injury and illness.
This massage is ideal for clients with recurring chronic pain, such as neck pain, back pain and sciatica. This 45- or 60-minute service is targeted to address your discomfort and get you on track to recovery.
An exclusive service for pain management, booked by the minute (10-minute minimum) to treat a specific pain in need of relief. Depending on your ailment, treatment may incorporate a mix of AIS (Active Isolated Stretching), ART (Active Release Technique), MET (Muscle Energy Technique), PRT (Positional Release Therapy), cryotherapy, orthopedic massage and other modalities, time permitting. All of these techniques have been studied and mastered by your therapist. Pat yourself on the back for seeking an alternative to your doctor, who’d probably just give you a shot of cortisone or write you a prescription for pain-killers!
Also used in the session is a VibraCussor® percussion therapy instrument, which relaxes tense muscles, relieves lymphatic congestion, restores joint motion, reduces post-exertion muscle soreness, releases superficial and deep fascia, and frees adhesions and scar tissue.
