Lymphatic Drainage Therapist
Total Body Skin Care and Wellness Spa, Wayne NJ’s newest holistic spa specializing in facials, therapeutic massage, post-op lymphatic drainage, body contouring and waxing, is seeking NJ licensed massage therapists with specialization in manual lymphatic drainage.
The spa is owner-operated by a massage therapist and skin-care specialist, with a full book of clients developed during 10 years at a smaller location. The owner is also one of NJ’s most experienced providers of Manual Lymphatic Drainage for wellness and post-op scenarios and an expert body contouring provider.
Our clientele is mostly middle-aged, sophisticated women who are looking for a level of service above and beyond what’s offered at a franchise facility. Our exclusive facility is petite, with four treatment rooms and a high level of repeat clientele. You will not be competing with co-workers for new clients and your book will fill up quickly.
Hours are flexible but once chosen they will fairly steady for scheduling purposes. Spa is currently open only on weekdays.
Lymphatic drainage (for detoxing as well as post-op) is a key component of our differentiated service offering, and is supported by two well-trained and experienced therapists who can provide guidance and additional training to newer practitioners with some existing experience and/or studies. Candidates able to perform therapeutic massage and body contouring will be prioritized.
This position offers a wealth of learning opportunities and training under an experienced professional. We also offer tuition assistance for CEU classes.
Candidates must exhibit warmth, confidence and professionalism while on the job. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a interest in perfecting their craft and broadening their knowledge.
Salary is a mix of hourly wage, commission on services and products, and of course gratuities.
Qualified candidates will undergo a brief video interview, followed by an in-person interview and trial massage with the owner (you will be compensated).

Skin Care Technician

The spa is owner-operated by a massage therapist and skin-care specialist, with a full book of clients developed during 10 years at a smaller location. Our clientele is primarily 30-60 year-old discriminating women who are looking for a level of service above and beyond what’s offered at a franchise facility. Our exclusive facility is petite, with four treatment rooms and a high level of repeat clientele. You will not be competing with co-workers for new clients and your book will fill up quickly.
Technicians are typically provided with orientation and training of skin care protocols, equipment and products before working independently. Prior experience and comfort performing waxing and/or lash applications preferred.
